For over 20 years I have been researching my ancestry and have
acquired a genealogy of over 25,000 relatives in the lineage of
Meckley, Meckel, Mackley, Sneider, Schneider, and Hengst
who came from Germany and Austria as early as 1749 and
the Monahan family from Ireland in 1840.
Look over the List of Family Names and, if you think you have a connected family name,
please e-mail your ancestors name with their dates and locations.

If you would like to make a donation to the Family Memorial Fund, let me explain where this fund is used.  I had a relative, a great uncle, who never married, and enlisted from Pennsylvania in the Civil War from 1861 until 1864.  In fact he was at the great battle of Gettysburg July 1-3, 1863.  He died in 1921 pennyless, a patient in a V.A. hospital, and is buried next to his brother,  my great-grandfather.  This veteran has no marker or stone on his grave.  This is where any donations would be applied, toward a stone or marker so he can be recognized for his life and service to his country.  His loyal service deserves to be remembered.  Any excess donations will be used in a similar manner for other relatives and/or veterans.   Thank you.
